Inhouse Consultant - Business Process Optimization (m/f/x) 



Tasks & Responsibilities: 


Identification and analyzation


  • Identification and analyzation of our core business processes
  • Comparison of our business processes against existing best practices or benchmarks
  • Structured and prioritized view on identified weaknesses within our process landscape




  • Proposal of projects and initiatives related to optimization of certain business areas / processes
  • Seeking ways to digitalize or automate process steps or entire processes
  • Leverage of all options to increase efficiency in our core processes
  • You will scope the requirements for change and define the “to be” realized benefits and expected post implementation results jointly with the respective business counterparts and stakeholders of the affected teams
  • Applying an “end to end” approach: from identification of potentials for optimization to implementation, communication and tracking of the expected benefits: you will have the responsibility for the full scope of required activities


Monitoring and documentation


  • Definition, implementation and tracking of process related KPIs to evaluate and monitor the performance of our core processes
  • Ownership for our existing process documentations including further development fitting to the maturity level of our company




  • Efficiency, simplification and digitalization are essentials that guide your daily routines
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experiences in an efficiency driven environment
  • Academic education that underpins your profession as a business process optimizer (e.g. Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)
  • Experience in applying methodological approaches (e.g. Six Sigma or Lean) to identify process weaknesses and to create prioritized proposals on how to optimize
  • Sound organizational understanding and the ability to work with various functions within matrix organizations paired with an empathic and results-orientated manner
  • You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new subjects and bring a high degree of analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Solid habit of results-orientation, comfort in taking the driver seat and leading team work to success
  • Knowledge on several IT-systems like SAP, Office 365 / SharePoint / MS Teams (GxP specific software solutions like Amplexor are a plus)
  • A deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical industry can be helpful
  • Fluent English and German preferable
